Had mine for ten years

The door was great to start with it then started blowing open in the wind. They sent a replacement trim but I couldn’t fit it. We eventually took it out. However we have now got a covered deck and put the door back in, it’s fantastic saves us running back and forward. With six Irish wolfhounds wanting in and out all day it’s a great idea

A VERY HAPPY SHOPPER

The door is absolutely brilliant! No draughts at all and I can certainly tell the difference in the temperature. Lovely to enter a kitchen that isn't like a fridge! BRILLIANT PRODUCT. Having eight dogs the only option was to take the bottom part of a door out and fit with a make-do cover: either that or keep an eye out for when the dogs wanted to do their business. This solved the problem in one. Just replace our make-do cover and it wasn't actually that hard to do - didn't need to get anyone in to do it.

You know they say you cant teach an old dog new tricks? Well, having to climb through the door myself and show them how its done. slow but sure LOL

Disappointed with build quality

Lovely big door. Great door action and no cold air getting in through the swinging glass doors, but the quality of the construction is not what I would expect for the cost. At each joint you can clearly see paper and sticky tape were the frames join together. We fitted it into a hardwood exterior door and It was very hard to fit. Even by a competent carpenter following the supplied installation template. The Dogvis is much deeper than a standard UK exterior hardwood door so a second frame had to be made to go around it on the outside and a trim build around the edge of that, to tidy it up and stop water getting in around the edges. It also would have been nice if the sliding lock tracks were included, £89 on top of over £600 paid already is very cheeky. Overall a great idea and a good size for our English Mastiff but way too expensive for the quality. Lets hope it lasts.
